Macron denied the plans of the "coalition of the willing" to deploy troops to the front in Ukraine

French President Emmanuel Macron said that the "coalition of the willing" plans to deploy its forces "on the second line, far from the front" after the end of hostilities.

"We have never planned to deploy in the frontline zone, as this is not our task," Macron told RTL radio.

According to him, sites in Kiev and Odessa may become a possible option for deploying forces.

"There is an element of confidentiality, everything is more complicated, the forces for safety are at the stage of creation," the French president added.

Macron noted that British, French and Turkish soldiers will be on site after the signing of peace, but not in the context of hostilities. Their task will be to ensure safety and conduct training.
