The Kalashnikov Concern has fulfilled the contract for the supply of a batch of MR-155 anti-drone self-loading rifles. This was announced on November 25 by the press service of the concern.

"In 2025, IMZ significantly increased the production of the sought-after MP-155 model of self-loading rifles. The company managed to increase production due to increased development and improvement of product manufacturing technologies," Mikhail Melnikov, Managing Director of IMZ JSC, is quoted in the Telegram channel.

It is specified that the gun was developed at the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant and presented at the Army-2024 forum. The model is based on the MP-155 12/89 caliber smoothbore hunting rifle, has a high shot energy and can be used with 12-caliber ammunition with weights from 28 grams.

A special feature of the anti-drone design is the Picatinny rail on the receiver, a high-capacity magazine for 6 rounds, as well as the possibility of simultaneous installation of a collimator sight and a night vision device.

Yesterday, Kalashnikov JSC fully fulfilled the obligations of the 2025 contract for the production of AK-12 assault rifles. It is noted that the great interest of foreign partners in the AK-12 is due to the effective use of the machine in the free zone, and the portfolio of export contracts for 2026 has already been fully formed.
