In Malaysia, the number of flood evacuees has exceeded 20,000.

More than 20 thousand residents of Malaysia were forced to leave their homes due to severe floods. This was reported on November 25 by the Bernama news agency.

According to the newspaper, over 20,000 people are currently housed in 119 temporary evacuation centers organized by the authorities in eight Malaysian states.

It is specified that the largest number of evacuees was recorded in the state of Kelantan, where almost 10 thousand people were registered. The flooding also affected the states of Selangor (2,697 evacuees), Perlis (2,694), Perak (2,678), Kedah (1,632), Penang (366), Terengganu (97) and Pahang (23).

In Vietnam, on November 23, the death toll from flooding exceeded 90 people, and 12 more are missing. It was clarified that the rains began to weaken, but some areas remained flooded, and hundreds of families continued to experience difficulties - floods damaged more than 1.1 thousand houses.
