On November 24, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, during a meeting with Governor of the Yaroslavl region Mikhail Evraev in Minsk, said that the "drudgery" in Ukraine would end in the near future.

"I think we will end this burden in Ukraine in the near future and take care of our internal affairs," Lukashenko said. A broadcast of the meeting was posted on the BelTA news agency's YouTube channel.

The Belarusian leader also announced agreements with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the construction of a high-speed highway. According to him, after the conflict is over, the parties will focus on projects that will improve people's lives.
