Participants in the special military operation (SVO) will be able to receive free additional education and qualifications for employment in high-paying positions. This was stated on November 24 by Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation Anna Tsivileva at the plenary session "Open to All: a society of equal opportunities."

"We are ready to provide education, courses, qualifications, and additionally a second higher education absolutely free of charge so that a person can raise their level of competence and find a job in the position they are applying for," she said.

According to Tsivileva, the foundation is working with large industrial enterprises to develop special employment schemes for veterans. Special attention is paid to adaptive physical education and sports as a necessary element of rehabilitation of people with disabilities.

In addition, large-scale sporting events are held within the framework of the Defender of the Fatherland Cups program with the support of regional governors. These competitions bring together teams from different regions of the Russian Federation.

"This is the unity of the spirit, this is the transition of such a fighting brotherhood into a sporting brotherhood. The guys have all become friends, actively challenging each other to various competitions. This is such a good, very positive practice of ours, which, of course, needs to be strengthened," said Tsivileva.

The foundation also implements projects on patriotic education and perpetuation of the memory of heroes. Books and stories about the participants of the SVO are published, which become the basis for the creation of films and scripts. According to Tsivileva, such a comprehensive system is the flagship of the rehabilitation of people with disabilities.

On November 13, the press service of the Russian government announced the expansion of the list of military personnel eligible for compensation payments instead of retirement pensions. It was clarified that military personnel under the contract who performed tasks to repel armed invasion and provocations in the regions bordering their homeland would receive monthly compensation in the amount of a full pension for their service.
