The rocket with the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft was taken to the Baikonur launch pad

The rocket carrying the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft, which has drawings of children fighting cancer, left the launch pad of the Baikonur cosmodrome. The footage is published by Izvestia on November 24.

The rocket has bright drawings created by children, in which they depicted their innermost desires. One of the participants in the program, 12-year-old Timofey, said that he had painted a dog on a rocket, emphasizing that now his dream had come true — he was cured and now he dreams of a pet.

"It's fantastic, it's beyond words, it needs to be seen. I've always dreamed of seeing something like this, <...> dreamed of space. I even have photos of space in my room. <...> It was my dream, and it was here that it came true," Sasha told Izvestia correspondent Igor Kaporikov.

On September 11, the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Progress MS-32 cargo ship launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome. According to Roscosmos, the rocket first carried the ship into low-Earth orbit, after which it began an independent flight to the ISS.
