More than 500 confiscated unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) will go to the largest anti-drone exercises to be held in Florida. This was reported by Bloomberg on November 21.

"More than 500 Chinese drones, confiscated by the authorities of the state of Florida in accordance with a controversial decree, were sent to an incinerator. But thanks to a versatile military initiative, they were saved from the fire. <...> Small drones will be transferred to the US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) in Florida. <...> Next month they will be used to fire shotguns in three—day competitions," the agency reports.

It is specified that during the competition, the US military will have to learn how to resist UAVs.

Marine Corps reservist Nate Ekelbarger, who founded the non-profit organization the National Association of Drones of the United States (USNDA), said that these exercises will be the largest in the United States in the field of combating drones. He also noted that if shotguns prove effective, new units of the US Armed Forces will have to train regularly with their use.
