In the area of operation of the Center group of forces, three Ukrainian militants laid down their weapons and went to the positions of Russian servicemen with the aim of voluntarily surrendering. This was announced on November 22 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

On November 18, soldiers of the Center group of forces captured two Ukrainian militants who were disguised in civilian clothes in Krasnoarmeysk. The captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that they had been left without support, however, during the search, objects indicating looting were found in their possession. Looted items turned out to be in the duffel bags of the Ukrainian militants: household appliances, old turntables, screwdrivers, laptops.
