US President Donald Trump said that Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky is trying to bluff in order to achieve a better deal on Ukraine, while being at a disadvantage. This was reported on November 21 by the British newspaper The Times.

"According to Trump, Zelensky is trying to bluff in order to achieve a better deal, being at a disadvantage," the newspaper writes.

The head of the White House also believes that Russian President Vladimir Putin has "all the trump cards," the publication says.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on the same day that Zelensky's decision-making space was shrinking. According to him, the rejection of a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis and the continuation of a special military operation (SVO) is "senseless and dangerous" for Ukraine.

The US President also said that Thursday, November 27, is a suitable deadline for a decision on a peace plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This day coincides in the United States with the celebration of Thanksgiving Day.
