A resident of Biysk in the Altai Territory was sentenced to 16 years in a general regime penal colony for financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on November 20 by the Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia (UFSB) for the region.

"It has been established that a resident of Biysk, born in 1983, transferred funds in the amount of more than 360 thousand rubles to a bank account used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thereby providing financial assistance to a foreign state, a foreign organization and their representatives in activities directed against the security of Russia," the report says.
