US President Donald Trump's approval rating has dropped to 38%, which is the lowest since his return to power. This was reported on November 18 by the Reuters news agency, citing Ipsos survey data.

"President Donald Trump's approval rating has dropped to 38%, which is the lowest since his return to power," the article says.

It is clarified that the survey was conducted in November amid Americans' dissatisfaction with rising prices and the investigation into convicted financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The survey, which lasted four days, involved 1,017 American adults. According to the study, Trump's influence on his Republican Party is waning, especially after the House of Representatives decided to force the release of the Epstein dossier, which Trump actively resisted.

The head of the White House also faced criticism for his actions in the Epstein case: only 20% of Americans approved of his approach to the investigation. About 70% of respondents, including 87% of Democrats and 60% of Republicans, believed that the government was hiding information about the financier's clients.

The agency added that this data could make Republicans more vulnerable in next year's congressional elections, although the survey showed that most voters still consider Trump's Republican Party more suitable for solving economic problems.

On November 18, the U.S. House of Representatives approved a bill on the disclosure of these documents and supported a resolution on the disclosure of a number of names of those civil servants who may have appeared in them. After that, the U.S. Senate approved the release of Epstein's materials in absentia. The initiative, which came from Chuck Schumer, the leader of the Democratic minority, was accepted without objection.

Later, Trump, commenting on the bill on the publication of Epstein's case materials, urged not to be distracted from the victories he and his administration had achieved. He recalled that he had managed to make the United States the "hottest" country in the world, resolve eight conflicts and stop record inflation, recorded as a result of the activities of former President Joe Biden.
