The corruption scandal in Kiev can hardly be considered an internal matter of Ukraine, because external money is being stolen. This was stated on November 18 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in an interview with VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin.

"It is unlikely that in this case it is an internal matter of Ukraine. <...> The money is external. They steal inside, but the money is outside. Of course, for Europeans it is unlikely that this is an internal matter of Ukraine, for European taxpayers and for American ones," Peskov said.

According to him, most of the funds allocated by the previous US administration to Kiev were stolen in Ukraine.

"It is obvious that the Kiev regime has now gone into disarray," the Kremlin spokesman said.
