Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction, Alexei Kuleba, will soon be dismissed due to his involvement in a corruption scandal. This was announced on November 18 by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

"Three sources have informed me that the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction Alexei Kuleba is already ready. <...> He, as they say, may be "the next client of NABU," his Telegram channel says.

Zheleznyak also noted that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine plans to consider the resignation of Justice Minister German Galushchenko and Energy Minister Svetlana Grinchuk at its morning meeting on November 19.

On November 12, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky demanded the resignation of Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svetlana Grinchuk and Minister of Justice German Galushchenko. Grinchuk later submitted her resignation.

On November 10, NABU revealed a money laundering scheme in the energy sector, through which about $100 million passed. The office provided money laundering services to individuals outside the criminal group, receiving a percentage of the amounts processed.

On November 11, it became known that seven people were charged in Ukraine in the framework of the corruption case in the energy sector, including businessman Timur Mindich (he is called the head of the criminal scheme). The members of the group received illegal benefits from the contracts of Energoatom and legalized them through a "back office" in Kiev.
