A mother suspected of murdering and dismembering her six-year-old son in Balashikha was taken to court for a preventive measure. The footage is published by Izvestia on November 18.
The footage from the court shows that the woman is sitting with her eyes closed with a cup in her hands, ignoring questions from journalists.
The incident occurred on November 16 in the east of Moscow. Human remains were found in the Golyanovsky pond. Later, investigators found out that they belonged to a child between the ages of seven and ten. The boy's body was found in Balashikha, Moscow region. According to the Izvestia source, the boy was killed by his mother's roommate, who was under the influence of drugs.
Later, on the night of November 17, the boy's mother was taken out of the entrance by the police. The policewoman was put in a car by the guards. As residents of the house told Izvestia, the child's mother often behaved outside the box and gave the impression of a person with psychological problems.
On the morning of November 17, the child's mother was detained on suspicion of murder. During the first interrogation, she confessed to the crime by writing a confession. However, later, when a lawyer came, the suspect refused to testify, citing article 51 of the Constitution.
In addition, law enforcement agencies noted that the suspect in the murder of her son allegedly suffers from schizophrenia. It was clarified that the mother of the murdered child was treated many times in a psychiatric hospital, and also used narcotic substances. On November 18, the Investigative Committee opened a case on the negligence of officials who did not take restrictive measures and did not deprive the accused of parental rights to the child due to her illness and the revealed facts of illegal actions against the child. In addition, the person involved in the case was charged under paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder"). The investigation will petition the court for her arrest.
