The Tagansky Court of Moscow is considering a civil lawsuit against Philip Kirkorov for the recovery of 12 million rubles. This was reported on November 18 by a correspondent of Izvestia.

The lawsuit was filed by Socium Trade, which received the right to claim a loan issued by the artist from a Moscow Credit Bank in 2020.

"His personality is very colorful," said Kirkorov's representative, lawyer Roman Kuzmin.

According to the plaintiff's side, the debt arose after the transfer of most of the funds to the company under the contract — almost 97% — while the remaining 12 million rubles, according to Kirkorov's preliminary agreement with the former management of the bank, were to be compensated by his performance at the New Year's corporate event of the ICB in 2022.

According to the lawyer, the concert took place, and the matter was closed. However, after the change of the bank's management, the demand for payment was presented again.

The artist's lawyer also sent a request to the court to close the court session in order to protect his privacy. It is specified that the court accepted the claim for production in September.

Earlier, on October 14, it was reported that Saratov businessman Greb Ryskov intends to sue Kirkorov. In a conversation with Izvestia, he clarified that he had already filed a lawsuit demanding to cancel the artist's deal to acquire a plot along the shoreline of the Moskva River. According to media reports, Kirkorov bought the land back in 2014. In turn, the entrepreneur was trying to get permission to use this shore for a charity tourism project.
