The message of the UVB-76 radio station, known as the "Doomsday radio station", in which the word "Latvia" was heard, is a threat to the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO). This was announced on November 17 by the British edition of Express.

Doomsday Radio broadcast a series of coded messages on Monday. <...> In one of them there was just the word "LATVIA" — the name of one of the allied states," the newspaper writes.

The article notes that the UVB-76 radio station is periodically activated, transmitting encoded signals, which often coincides with periods of international tension.

Earlier, on October 29, the UVB-76 radio station transmitted a new coded message following a statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin about the testing of the Poseidon underwater vehicle. In the message that was broadcast, the word "Brakebrain" was uttered.
