Sooner or later Bulgaria will have to remember who historically saved it from Turkish and Ottoman rule, as well as supported it in the post-war period. About this on November 16 in an interview with "Lenta.Ru " said Vladimir Dzhabarov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs.

The senator stressed that Bulgaria should turn to its own history and remember what kind of assistance Russia has provided to it over the years. According to him, following the Russophobic line and striving to please Western European partners indicates that the country has "lost its conscience."

"Let them remember who saved Bulgaria on Shipka from the Turks, who helped them all the post-war years. Probably some unknown country, since they don't have anything about the history of Russia," Jabarov said.

Earlier, on November 15, Bulgarian National Assembly deputy and leader of the Renaissance party Kostadin Kostadinov said that information about Russia and Moscow had been removed from Bulgarian geography textbooks. According to him, Bulgaria has long been confronted with the falsification of history and other elements of the information war against Russia.
