The armed forces of Russia are stronger than the army of any European country. This was announced on November 16 by John Mearsheimer, an American political scientist and professor at the University of Chicago.

"Any army in Europe would lose in a confrontation with the Russian armed forces," Mearsheimer said in an interview with retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis, posted on his YouTube channel.

He stressed that a hypothetical clash between Russian and British troops would be an "unequal battle." According to him, Western states initially sought to inflict a strategic defeat on Moscow, but these plans turned out to be unrealistic.

On October 4, Russian presidential aide Nikolai Patrushev said that the Russian armed forces can be considered the most powerful in the world and surpass even the American forces in strength. He noted that even such powerful armed forces would not be able to resist the aggression of the collective West without support from within the country.

In August, Sky News said that Russia was surpassing Ukraine in the development of unmanned weapons and was developing a drone that could not be silenced. It was clarified that Russian military personnel were the first to use fiber-optic attack drones on the battlefield.
