Two cars collided in Bashkiria, killing two people and taking five others, including two children, to the hospital. This was announced on November 14 by the chief State Traffic Safety Inspector of the republic, Vladimir Sevastyanov.

"As a result of the accident, the driver and passenger of a domestic car died on the spot before the ambulance arrived, and five more participants in the accident, including two minors, are being examined by doctors," Sevastyanov wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is specified that the accident occurred at about 19:00 (17:00 Moscow time) on the 45th km of the Sterlitamak — Strelibashevo — Fedorovka highway. According to preliminary data, the 76-year-old driver of the VAZ-2115 drove into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a Toyota Camry.

Traffic police officers and emergency services are working at the scene. The circumstances of the accident are being clarified.

Earlier, on November 13, it was reported that one person was killed in an accident in Dagestan. It was clarified that the accident occurred on the Makhachkala— Buinaksk highway. As a result of the incident, five people were injured.
