Yulia Vysotskaya told about the girl's adoption
Russian director Andrei Konchalovsky and actress Yulia Vysotskaya became foster parents four years ago, adopting a girl named Sonya. Vysotskaya spoke about this for the first time on November 14 in an interview with the YouTube channel Fametime TV.
"We often thought about adopting someone. And recently we got such a miracle — Sonya. Sonya is four years old. <...> She was nine days old when a miracle happened," she said.
Vysotskaya explained that she and her husband had been working on adding to the family for a long time, but "it didn't work out." She also added that she had never hidden her daughter's appearance from the public. At the same time, Sonya's parents are trying to protect her from "strange manifestations of publicity."
In addition to the adopted Sonya, Vysotsky and Konchalovsky already have two biological children — daughter Maria and son Peter.
Earlier, Vysotskaya shared details in an interview about her 22-year-old son Peter, who will soon complete his studies at the Moscow Architectural Institute (MARKHI). According to the actress, her son has been a calm and reasonable child since childhood. As a teenager, he tried himself in various fields, including fashion, but later became interested in urbanism. According to Vysotskaya, her son plans to work in his profession after graduation.
