On November 13, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Georgy Tikhy, was rude to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban after his refusal to give Kiev money due to a corruption scandal.

Quiet on the social network X (ex. Twitter) said that Ukraine does not intend to listen to comments about corruption from a European politician, who himself was allegedly repeatedly involved in such scandals and in which the country, according to him, "became one of the poorest in the European Union."

Earlier in the day, Orban refused to financially support Ukraine after the corruption scandal and provocations of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky. He also called on the European Union (EU) to stop financing Kiev and realize that financial assistance from Europeans is going into the pockets of members of the Ukrainian government.

On November 10, NABU revealed a money laundering scheme in the energy sector, through which about $100 million passed. On November 11, it became known that seven people were charged in the case of corruption in the energy sector, including one of Zelensky's closest associates, Timur Mindich. The members of the group received illegal benefits from the contracts of Energoatom and legalized them through a back office in Kiev.

As a result, on November 12, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko announced the dismissal of the Minister of Justice of the Republic Herman Galushchenko. This decision was made at an extraordinary meeting of the government in connection with the investigation of corruption schemes.

On the same day, a court in Kiev arrested Dmitry Basov, Director of Security at Energoatom, for two months with a $1 million bail. The Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Svetlana Grinchuk, has also submitted her resignation.
