Lithuania has added rapper Alisher Morgenstern (included in the register of foreign agents in the Russian Federation) to the list of undesirable persons and banned him from entering the country. This was announced on November 13 by the representative of the Department of Migration of the Baltic Republic, Rokas Pukinskas.

"The ban on Alisher Morgenstern's entry into Lithuania comes into force immediately and is valid for 10 years," Pukinskas said in an interview with the BNS news agency.

According to him, the decision was made based on an appeal from the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry and additional information indicating that the musician's stay in the country may pose a threat to national security.

On October 24, Vilnius Mayor Valdas Benkunskas appealed to the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry demanding that Morgenstern be included in the list of undesirable persons. It was noted that the reason was the concert of the artist scheduled for the end of the year.
