Poltava region is disconnected from the unified energy system of Ukraine

The Poltava region was completely de-energized after damage to energy facilities on November 8. This was announced on November 12 by the company "Poltavaoblenergo".

"Due to force majeure on November 08, 2025, due to military operations, the company lost the ability to receive electricity from the unified energy system," reads a statement posted on the company's official Facebook page (owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).

Poltavaoblenergo explained that this temporarily makes it impossible to fulfill obligations to consumers.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the situation.
