The strongest impact of solar plasma on Earth in 2025 is expected on November 12.
After a powerful solar flare, the plasma release will absorb clouds already moving towards the Earth from previous strong flares, this will be the strongest blow to the planet in the current solar cycle. This was announced on November 11 at the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Institute of Space Research (IKI). RAN in the Telegram channel.
It is noted that earlier forecasts about the arrival of two emissions from X-level flares to the Earth have lost their relevance.
"All the plasma clouds that are currently flying towards the planet will catch up and absorb the emission from today's flare. An impact on Earth is expected tomorrow, and according to the model, it will be the strongest in the current 25th solar cycle," the report says.
Earlier, on November 11, honorary Doctor of Sciences, educator, teacher Sergey Chumakov said that the outbreak of class X5.1, which occurred on the Sun, was the most powerful since 2024. Despite the regularity of such phenomena, in terms of the amount of energy released, it exceeds all outbreaks of the last 11 months by at least 10-15 times.
