The Investigative Committee (IC) has opened a criminal case after a fight involving two teenagers at a school in Ramenskoye, Moscow region. This was reported on November 11 in the press service of the Main Investigative Department (GSU) of the Investigative Committee for the region.
"An investigator of the Ramenskoye investigative department of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow Region has opened a criminal case based on media information about hooligan actions by a student of one of the schools committed against a classmate (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)," the department's Telegram channel says.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred on November 10 at the Druzhba village school. There was a quarrel between two ninth graders during the measurement. Later, one of them took out a penknife and showed it to a classmate, and then punched him several times in the face.
The GSU of the Investigative Committee added that as a result, a criminal case was also initiated under Part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Negligence"). In addition, interrogations and other investigative actions are planned as part of the investigation of the case.
On September 25, the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Irkutsk region reported that a teenager stabbed a classmate during a lesson at a school in the city of Winter. It was clarified that the prosecutor's office would conduct an audit in the framework of the implementation of legislation on education.
