- The Ukrainian Armed Forces burned houses, forcing civilians out of the village and shooting them during the evacuation
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) deliberately destroyed residential buildings and prevented the evacuation of civilians from a frontline settlement. This was announced on November 11 by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces first burned houses, forcing civilians out of the village, and then shot them while trying to evacuate to the side controlled by the Russian Armed Forces," the report says.
One of the victims said that the Baba Yaga drone systematically flew in and set fire to private homes. At the same time, the buildings occupied by Ukrainian militants were not attacked.
According to him, the Ukrainian military drove civilians from basement to basement, trying to get them to leave the village. When a group of civilians tried to leave towards the territories controlled by Russian forces, people found themselves in a Ukrainian minefield, which had no signs or warning signs.
"When we decided to leave, the road was mined. There were no warnings or signs on the way. The wheel of the baby carriage hit a mine — the woman died on the spot, four were injured. I lost my leg myself," said an eyewitness.
It is specified that of the 14 people who left the village, at least three died from their injuries.
Earlier, on April 22, Mikhail Zapasnoy, a resident of Leonidovka, told how the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants robbed residents and took their property to the territory of Ukraine. According to him, the militants found a hidden Chevrolet Niva car and seized the vehicle. He noted that the military demanded the car keys and threatened him with a grenade.
