FSB suppressed illegal export of dual-use engines in Yaroslavl
In Yaroslavl, law enforcement agencies stopped the supply of dual-purpose engines abroad. This was reported on November 10 in the press service of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Yaroslavl region.
"The Federal Security Service of Russia for the Yaroslavl Region, in cooperation with the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Ryazan Region, suppressed the criminal activities of two heads of a commercial enterprise in Yaroslavl," TASS quoted the message as saying.
It was established that the leaders had established a channel for illegal shipments of dual-use products abroad. As a result, a criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Article 189 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal export from the Russian Federation of products subject to export control").
On June 9, it was reported that the FSB of Russia had suppressed 236 illegal exports of drones and military equipment since October 1, 2023. It was noted that it consisted of six participants from among the citizens of Russia, Ukraine and the Middle East. Their activities were coordinated by a citizen of a foreign state located abroad.
