Pushilin: The Russian Armed Forces do not allow the Ukrainian Armed Forces to escape from the encircled Krasnoarmeysk

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation stopped an attempt by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to break through and leave Krasnoarmeysk, which they were undertaking in the northern part of the city. This was announced on November 9 by the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin.

"Krasnoarmeysk itself is practically and physically surrounded. And there are attempts by the enemy to break through the last alleged exits in the north of Krasnoarmeysk. But such an attempt by the enemy was prevented by our fighters," he said in a video message posted on the Telegram channel.

He clarified that Russian troops continue to strengthen their positions in the area. According to Pushilin, units of the Russian Armed Forces are actively working to prevent the restoration of Ukrainian logistics and supplies in this area.

On the same day, the head of the DPR clarified that the Ukrainian militants who were surrounded in the area of Krasnoarmeysk and Dimitrov could not withstand the onslaught of Russian troops and surrendered. He called the Krasnoarmeysko-Dimitrovskaya agglomeration one of the hottest points on the line of contact, where the soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces know how to act.
