Problems with electricity arose after the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Belgorod and the Belgorod region, more than 20 thousand residents remain without electricity, power engineers are restoring electricity supply. This was announced on November 8 by Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.

According to the head of the region, the air defense system shot down several aerial targets over Belgorod and the Belgorod region. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties.

"There are problems with electricity on a number of streets. There is also no power supply in part of the village of Dubovoye in the Belgorod region. More than 20 thousand residents remain without electricity. All emergency and operational services are working on the ground. Power engineers are restoring electricity supply," Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.

Earlier in the day, Gladkov reported that two civilians had been injured in a Ukrainian drone strike in the region. Doctors diagnosed one man with a shrapnel wound to his back, the other with a shrapnel wound to his hip.
