Albania urges the European Union to engage in dialogue with Russia
The European Union (EU) countries should engage in dialogue with Russia. This was announced on November 8 by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama in an interview with the Austrian newspaper die Presse.
"As for the European Union, I believe that the EU should talk to Russia and should not further transfer its foreign policy to Washington," he said.
According to the Prime Minister, the EU and Russia are neighbors, unlike the United States. He added that it is with the neighbors that we need to talk.
Earlier, on October 25, Anna Paulina Luna, a member of the US House of Representatives from the Republican Party, said that the United States should focus on peace negotiations and trade opportunities with Russia, and not on provoking war.
