A draft was submitted to the State Duma to extend the experiment with the delivery of two subjects for the OGE

The Russian government has submitted to the State Duma (DG) a bill to extend until 2029 the experiment on passing the OGE in only two subjects in some regions. The corresponding draft is posted in the database of draft laws of the State Duma.

"Taking into account the above, as well as the social significance of the draft law, it is proposed to extend until 2029 the period of the experiment, which establishes a special procedure for conducting state final certification in educational programs of basic general education," the explanatory note to the bill says.

The experiment also concerns the process of admission to study in educational programs of secondary general and secondary vocational education in certain regions of the Russian Federation. In addition, the bill provides for an expansion of the list of regions participating in the experiment. The Republic of Tatarstan, Moscow, Rostov, Tver and Tyumen regions will be added to the existing entities.

It was clarified that the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov held a meeting, during which the results of an experiment to expand the availability of secondary vocational education in Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Lipetsk region were summarized.
