Telegram users in some regions of Russia have reported a glitch

Disruptions in the work of the Telegram messenger were recorded in Karelia, the Kaliningrad Region, the Kemerovo Region, St. Petersburg, and the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, according to data from the Downdetector portal on November 8.

It is specified that 319 complaints were received in one hour, 1207 in a day. Failures related to the operation of the mobile application, the notification system, and the website were highlighted among the most frequent problems.

Android (43.4%) and iOS (35.8%) owners are most likely to have access problems. Windows users (19%) and Mac OS X users (1.8%) had the least crashes.

Earlier, on October 21, it was reported that Telegram and WhatsApp messengers (part of Meta, the organization is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) stopped working in several regions of Russia. It was clarified that the most failures were recorded in the Krasnodar Territory, in the Rostov and Saratov regions, the Stavropol Territory and the Magadan region. Android (42.0%) and Windows (31.3%) owners had the most difficulties with access.
