The Estonian authorities have expressed their intention to disrupt the concert of the American rap metal band Limp Bizkit in Tallinn because of the statements of its leader Fred Durst regarding Russia. This was reported on November 7 by the ERR publication.

The band planned to perform on May 31 at the Unibet Arena outdoor venue. However, as the source notes, the event may be canceled due to the "pro-Russian past" of the frontman.

"The fate of the recently announced Limp Bizkit Tallinn show next spring remains unclear — the Estonian ministries have condemned it because of past statements by frontman Fred Durst," the publication says.

According to ERR, the Estonian Ministry of Culture appealed to the organizers to cancel the concert, stressing that the performance should not take place. In turn, the republic's Foreign Ministry said that supporters of the "aggressor state" "have no place in the cultural space" of the country.

Earlier, on September 9, it was reported that the concert of Russian pianist Denis Matsuev in Athens, scheduled for November 21, was canceled. The event was cancelled due to the "international situation". The press service of the Athens State Orchestra clarified that Matsuev would be replaced by another soloist.
