Rostec supplied the army with new Krasnopol-M2 shells and missiles for the Kornet
The High-Precision Complexes Holding, part of Rostec State Corporation, has supplied the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with further batches of missiles for the Kornet anti-tank systems and Krasnopol-M2 precision artillery shells. This was announced on November 7 by the press service of the state corporation in the Telegram channel.
The Kornet anti-tank system is designed to destroy modern tanks, including vehicles with dynamic protection, as well as defensive structures, armored vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The system has proven itself in battles against Western armored vehicles such as Leopard, Challenger tanks and Bradley infantry fighting vehicles. Guided artillery shells "Krasnopol-M2" are used to destroy a wide range of targets — from tanks and armored personnel carriers to bridges, command posts and fortifications of the enemy.
"Such high-precision weapons are especially in demand in the military in modern combat conditions. Rostec State Corporation enterprises are increasing their production at an accelerated pace to meet the needs of the army," said Bekhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of the Rostec arms cluster.
Earlier, on November 6, the Russian Defense Ministry accepted a new batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers manufactured under the current state defense order. The Su-34 has the ability to hit ground (surface) and air targets of infrastructure facilities covered by air defense systems and located at significant distances from the home airfield.
