Pashinyan linked the order of nationalization of the "Electric Grids of Armenia" with their cost

The procedure for nationalizing the Electric Networks of Armenia company, owned by arrested businessman Samvel Karapetyan, who holds Russian citizenship, will depend on its valuation. This was announced on November 6 by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"If the price turns out to be reasonable, the issue of acquisition will be discussed seriously. If it is too high, we will consider the option of attracting a large international investor with experience in the energy sector. At the same time, the state should remain involved in key decision—making, either through strengthening regulatory mechanisms or through equity participation, including the possibility of introducing a "golden share," Pashinyan's words are quoted by Sputnik Armenia.
