SVR: NATO calls on Kiev to carry out a major sabotage like the MH17 disaster

NATO representatives intend to urge the Kiev leadership to prepare a major sabotage with mass casualties, like the crash of the Malaysian Boeing MH17 in 2014. This was announced on November 6 by the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).

"NATO members are calling on Kiev to carry out a major sabotage with casualties among Ukrainians and residents of EU countries, like the MH17 plane crash," the statement said.

According to the SVR, the key problem for the organizers of such an operation is the need to shift responsibility to the Russian side. In this regard, according to the statement, Western countries allegedly plan to coordinate an information campaign in the media in advance so that public opinion perceives the incident as Moscow's fault.

Earlier in the day, the SVR also reported that Western countries were preparing to stage a sabotage at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant and hold Russia responsible. According to the press office, the Chatham House research and production association in the UK has already determined the consequences of the accident. Thus, residents of Kiev-controlled areas and citizens of the European Union (EU) countries near the Ukrainian western border will find themselves in the area of the spread of radioactive particles.
