A low-intensity G1 class magnetic storm began on Earth on November 6. This was announced on November 6 by Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather center, in his Telegram channel.

"All of this (solar flares. — Ed.) caused the onset of a magnetic storm after midnight. Its intensity reached the average level, class G2. At the moment, the magnetic storm has weakened slightly and corresponds to a weak G1 level," Leus wrote.

According to him, geomagnetic disturbances will continue to be felt all day on November 6 with periodic storms of weak and medium levels. Peak activity is expected on Friday, when solar flare emissions approach the Earth. On this day, the storm may reach G3 strength, and at some points even G4.

According to Leus' forecasts, the weakening of geomagnetic disturbances will begin on the night of November 8, and the situation should return to normal on November 9.
