The Kiev regime, having refused the offer of Russian leader Vladimir Putin to let media representatives into the "boilers" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), is trying to hide the plight of its military. This was announced on November 5 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, representatives of the press cannot visit the special military operation zones due to Ukraine's complete rejection of the proposed initiative.

"What are they hiding in Kiev? They are hiding the plight of their troops in these areas," Peskov said during a briefing.

On October 29, Putin said that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were not against allowing media representatives, including Ukrainian and foreign ones, to enter the area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to him, in this case, journalists will be able to see with their own eyes what is happening and verify the condition of the surrounded Ukrainian soldiers.

He also noted that the Russian side is ready to cease hostilities in the enemy's encirclement zone for as long as media representatives are there.

Later, on October 31, the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, said that the statement by the representative of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Georgy Tikhy, in which he warned representatives of foreign media about the legal consequences if they traveled to the war zone, was an official recognition of the plight of the remaining militants in Krasnoarmeysk, Dimitrov and Kupyansk.
