On November 4, Russian President Vladimir Putin took part in the opening of the Orthodox Russia exhibition and forum at the Manege, dedicated to National Unity Day.

The event was attended by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, who accompanied the head of state during an inspection of the exposition.

During the visit, the President was shown the historic Victory Banner hoisted over the Reichstag in 1945, as well as other unique exhibits related to the history of the Great Patriotic War. Special attention was paid to wartime relics.

The exhibition features more than 700 exhibits, including rare archival documents and museum items from the war, provided by 50 federal and departmental archives and museums in Russia and Belarus, as well as private collections.

On the same day, Putin laid flowers at the monument to Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky on Red Square in Moscow, and also talked with young activists, representatives of volunteer movements and children of heroes of the special military operation (SVO).
