A Class M flare occurred on the Sun

An outbreak of class M3.5 occurred on the Sun. This was reported on November 4 on the website of the Institute of Applied Geophysics (IPG).

"In the X—ray range, a flash of M3.5 was detected in the group of spots 4274 (N22E72)," the report says.

According to the institute, the outbreak occurred at 04:48 Moscow time and lasted about 25 minutes.

On November 3, scientists recorded two powerful M-class solar flares within an hour. So, their duration was 59 and 61 minutes.
