Fraudsters lure out personal data of Russians under the guise of a call from an "accountant" who allegedly informs them about the due payment. This was announced on November 2 by the Department for the Organization of the fight against the illegal use of information and communication technologies (UBK) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"The attackers call on behalf of the accountant of the municipality and inform them about the required payment or the need to process the documents personally in the administration," the department's Telegram channel says.
