The women's team of Spartak Moscow football club (FC) won the Russian Football Championship for the first time in history, having drawn with CSKA Moscow. The match took place on November 2 and ended with a score of 2:2.

It is specified that striker Natalia Mashina (69th minute) and midfielder Tiyana Filipovich (82nd minute) scored goals for Spartak. Defender Nevena Damjanovic (9) and striker Milena Nikolic (57) scored for CSKA.

Spartak scored 61 points in 23 matches and secured the championship title ahead of schedule. CSKA scored 57 points and took second place in the tournament.
