A monument to the Hero of Russia Vladimir Zhoga was unveiled in the DPR at the place of his death.

A monument to the Hero of Russia, ex-commander of the Sparta battalion Vladimir Zhoga, who died in March 2022, was unveiled at the site of his death in Volnovakha. This was announced on November 2 by the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin.

"A monument to the Hero of Russia and the Donetsk People's Republic, Vladimir Zhoga, was unveiled in Volnovakha. Together with Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, and Artyom Zhoga, Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the Ural Federal District, they laid flowers at the foot of the monument," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
