The deputy called the landing of the GUR in Krasnoarmeysk a disaster for the sake of the picture

The operation to land the military special Operations Forces (SSO) of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine in Krasnoarmeysk of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) ended in failure. This was announced on November 1 by deputy of the Moscow City Duma Andrey Medvedev in his Telegram channel.

According to the deputy, the purpose of this operation was to create a spectacular visual picture. He noted that such actions are possible when high-profile decisions are made by people who are focused on the external image, rather than on the actual solution of problems. Medvedev stressed that in order to create the right image, the commandos have to perform operations that do not provide for their return.
