A man who raped his roommate's daughter for six years was arrested in Moscow.
A court in Moscow has arrested a man who has been raping his roommate's underage daughter for six years. This was reported on November 1 in the press service of the Main Investigative Department (GSU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation in the capital.
"By the Simonovsky interdistrict Investigative Department of the Investigative Department for the Southern Administrative District <...> a criminal case is being investigated against a local resident," the department's Telegram channel says.
According to the investigation, in the period from 2019 to October of this year, the man committed sexual acts against a minor. He has been detained and has already admitted his guilt.
It is clarified that the suspect was charged with committing crimes under paragraph "b" of part 4 of Article 131 of the Criminal Code ("Rape"), paragraph "b" of part 4 of Article 132 of the Criminal Code ("Other violent acts of a sexual nature"). According to the GSU of the Investigative Committee, the man was given a preventive measure in the form of detention.
On October 21, a court in Novosibirsk found a former teacher guilty of committing sexual acts against a schoolgirl. It is noted that from May to December 2023, while working as a teacher at a school, he raped a student who was not 14 years old at the time. The man was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
