It is specified that the plane, returning from Orlando (Florida), touched the tail of another airliner when turning to the boarding gate. Both planes were returned to the terminal, and the passengers were evacuated. As a result of the incident, no one was injured — there were 328 passengers and 15 crew members on board.

On October 12, it was reported that at least two people were killed in the crash of a light aircraft near Hicks Airport in Texas. It was noted that at the time of the crash, some parts of the aircraft were on fire, which caused grass to flare up on the ground. The fire was quickly extinguished.
