UAC handed over a new batch of Su-35S fighters to the Russian Defense Ministry

The Russian Ministry of Defense has accepted a new batch of Su-35S multi-role fighters manufactured under the current state defense order. This was announced on November 1 in the press service of Rostec State Corporation.

"We have increased the pace of deliveries of modern combat aircraft in the interests of the Ministry of Defense. This also applies to the Su-35S, which is by far the most efficient modern fighter in the world," the company's Telegram channel says.

According to the company, the aircraft have passed all the necessary ground and flight tests and have already been sent to their duty stations. The fighters are manufactured by the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), part of Rostec.

The state corporation noted that the Su-35S is capable of effectively hitting targets, operating in all weather conditions. The fighters are equipped with modern equipment and long-range weapons.

On October 28, it was reported about the successful first flight of the import-substituted MC-21 aircraft from the airfield of the Irkutsk Aviation Plant of the Yakovlev company. During the test flight, the operation of domestic PD-14 systems and engines was checked. It was specified that the aircraft would join the certification testing program along with the MC-21 prototype.
