The director of the film "The most charming and attractive" Gerald Bezhanov has died.

Film director, screenwriter and producer Gerald Bezhanov died at the age of 86. This was announced on October 31 in the Telegram channel of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia.

"At the age of 86, Gerald Surenovich Bezhanov, a feature film director, producer, screenwriter, actor, member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1990), knight of the Order of Friendship (2010), passed away," the message says.

He began his career at the Armenfilm film studio, where he directed his debut film The Yellow Tondyr, and since 1975 he has worked as a production director at Mosfilm.

Bezhanov became widely known in 1985 after the release of the film "The most charming and attractive." He also participated in the creation of such films as "Where is Nofelet?", "Entrance through the window", "Urgent Call" and "Scream in the Night".
