Shoigu: nuclear tests are carried out daily, but in the format of calculations
Nuclear tests take place every day in the world, but they are conducted in a calculated format, not a physical one. This was announced on October 31 by Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergei Shoigu during the opening of the international festival "Peoples of Russia and the CIS".
"The trials did not stop in any country for a single day or an hour. But the only thing is that they were carried out in terms of the use of computational techniques, and they were not carried out physical tests, but mathematical models were made," Shoigu said.
According to him, these tests are necessary, as they require regular monitoring and development.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted on October 27 that ensuring security for Russia is a vital issue, especially against the background of the militaristic attitude of Europe. According to him, the Europeans are in a state of internal hysteria — "Russophobic, aggressive and belligerent."
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, in turn, stressed that the development of systems such as the Burevestnik nuclear-powered cruise missile was forced. The purpose of testing new types of weapons is to ensure the readiness of the Russian Federation to protect the fundamental and vital interests of the country, as well as to demonstrate its intention to give a firm rebuff in the event of a threat from any potential enemy.
