FT named the reason for the postponement of the Putin-Trump summit in Hungary
The summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Donald Trump has been postponed indefinitely due to Russia's defense of its position on the Ukrainian conflict. This was reported on October 31 by The Financial Times (FT) newspaper, citing sources.
"The United States canceled President Donald Trump's planned summit with Vladimir Putin in Budapest after Russia's memorandum, which contained firm demands on Ukraine, was quickly followed by a telephone conversation between senior diplomats of the two countries," the statement said.
